  • Individualized and group instruction
  • Daily feedback on performance
  • Frequent communication between school and home
  • A structured level system to reinforce progress
  • Morning snack, nutritious lunches
  • A fully certified/licensed teaching and treatment staff
  • Attractive classrooms, library, gym, and computer lab
  • Assistance in developing and implementing a plan to transition the student back into a community educational setting

  • Exploration of individual and family issues
Transportation is provided by the referring source or the parents.

Education & Treatment Staff
To best meet the wide range of educational needs of the students, the education team consists of teachers with experience and training in a variety of areas. Teachers hold undergraduate or graduate degrees and are certified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in regular or special education. Treatment services are provided by a licensed psychotherapist, social worker, nurse, and psychiatrist.

Intake Process
After an initial review of records, an intake interview is scheduled at St. Rose with the student and her family, and the referring source to discuss the program and assess the student’s needs.

“The day program at St. Rose is effective for my daughter because the staff provides personal and emotional support, as well as academic support. The teachers, counselors, and others at St. Rose work collaboratively and include the parents as part of the educational team. It means a lot to me that they put the extra effort in to keep communication open with me and that they truly seem to value input from myself and my daughter.”
