This year St. Rose was selected as one of the fortunate ‘Miracle on Canal Street' agencies and
On Friday December 11th, St. Rose Youth & Family Center received $50,232.59 from Miracle on Canal Street.
The money will be used to help support and grow our Family Reunification Program (FRP). FRP was created in August 2000 to address the needs of children whose parent(s) are incarcerated and are experiencing a difficult time with their separation and feelings of abandonment.
Money received will fund children's support groups that will help them develop skills to cope with the disruptions in their lives and the sadness they may experience from the separation.
